Is Fine thread good or bad? Can it melt?

Thread lifting is a long-established procedure that can be divided into 2 types: Melted thread (developed from sutured Thread) and insoluble Thread (Golden thread that you cannot get to do MRI stirctly)

Nowadays, we prefer to use melting silk because it is natural and safe to degrade. Melt thread can be divided into: Thread without spines is a typical PDO to stimulate collagen, not to lift the face. Thread with spines is PDO that has spines to stick with tissues and tighten the face.

The definisse thread comes from Italy, which is made from a durable, strong but flexible material and not easily melted. You can be constantly moving, yawning and opening mouths naturally. It still lasts for up to 18 months with highly safe and 100% biodegradable.

The definisse thread is mixed with PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) which is a material that is flexible, strong and can stimulate collagen better than general and PCL (Polycaprolactone) which is a material that is more flexible and stonger and lasts longer than usual.

We took the strengths of these two materials to make the definisse thread with its elastic but stronger properties.

It stimulates collagen production and has longer results than traditional threading.

Advantages of the definisse thread

  • The thread is specially designed with the shape of the spines facing each other when attaching to the skin very well.
  • Fewer threads are used than other types of silk and painless.
  • Not easily broken and strong.
  • Stimulate collagen and lift the skin to be firm in the long term.
  • Add radiance to the skin from the addition of collagen.
  • Use the Double Needle Technique where the tip of the needle is exceptionally sharp and slippery. It can be threaded in the direction you want more conveniently and reduce the swelling after threading.
  • Italian threading is the use of materials and special techniques in threading. We use fewer strands, but lift longer and more, and are less prone to bruising than other types of threading.
  • The length of the silk is 23cm long. It fits well, no matter whether the face is big or small, it is long enough
  • A specific technique of definisse is according to the Vector of the thread. It is similar to a facelift in which there are many different techniques. We select to suit each patient's face.
  • Abdominal fat can be transferred to the ear area, reducing sagging along with to fulfill and tighten the cheeks

Safety

It is endorsed by both Europe and America in terms of face lifting.

Self-preparation before threading

Stop taking supplements such as vitamin C, vitamin E, as well as certain medications such as paracetamol, for at least 1 week to prevent easy bleeding and the risk of bruising. Refrain from doing various treatments such as Thermage Ulthera for 1-2 weeks. But threading can be done on the same day. If you need to have a dental procedure, please do your teeth before the threading or after 1 month of threading as the dental procedure has to open the mouth wide and may cause the thread to come off.

Taking care of yourself after threading

  1. No make-up for 24 hours after finishing threading.
  2. Do not massage the face, both the hand massage and the face wash.
  3. Do not use the machine.
  4. Touch the skin gently. Do not knead, as this may cause the lifting of the silkworm to not go as planned.
  5. Beware of laughing, yawning, and wide-open mouths.
  6. After 1-2 days after the Italian thread threading, some cases may notice a dimple, which is normal for threading due to the tension of the skin. But the mark will gradually return to normal in 2-4 weeks.

Who is suitable for Italian fine threading?

Threading can be performed by both women and men. For people whose face has problems with cheeks sagging, wattle around the face is not clear. If there is too much fat, it is not suitable for threading due to insufficient pulling force. If the face is too slender, it may be more suitable for enhancement.
